- Measured from the top of the bed base to the floor, so the skirt just clears it.

- Closed, or split at the corners for beds with posts or a footboard.

- Any bed linen quality we weave, so it matches the sheets and duvet cover.

Common questions
Is a bed skirt the same as a valance?
Yes, the same piece under different names. In the US it is a bed skirt or dust ruffle; in the UK it is a valance, and a valance sheet is a fitted sheet with the skirt sewn on. Tell us which your market expects and we make it to that format.
How should the drop be measured?
From the top of the bed base, where the skirt sits under the mattress, down to the floor. Bed heights differ by market and by bed, so the drop is set in your specification and checked on the sample.
Can a bed skirt be made to match the rest of the bed?
Yes. It is cut from the same quality and colour as the sheets and duvet cover and sampled with them, so the shade matches across the bed. The minimum is per quality and colourway, so it can share one with the rest of the programme.
