Privacy Policy
Last updated 14 October 2026
This policy explains what personal information H & J Exim Private Limited (“H & J Exim”, “we”, “us”) collects through hjepl.com and when you contact us, why, who we share it with, and your rights. We are a home textile manufacturer and exporter registered in India (CIN U51311DL2001PTC112618), with our office at Plot No. 142, Sector 37, Udyog Vihar Industrial Area, Phase VI, Gurugram, Haryana, India 122001. We are responsible for this information (the “data fiduciary” under Indian law and the “controller” under the GDPR).
What we collect
- Enquiries. Through our enquiry form: your name and email address, and anything else you choose to add, such as your company, phone number, country and message.
- Email, messages and phone. Your contact details and whatever you send us, such as briefs, specifications, artwork and reference photos.
- Orders. The business contact, delivery, invoicing and shipping details needed to complete an order with your company.
- Visitor statistics. We count page views and see roughly where visitors come from and what devices they use, with a privacy-friendly tool that sets no cookies and does not identify you.
- Technical records. Like any website, ours automatically logs technical details such as IP addresses and browser types, to deliver pages and keep the site secure.
Please do not send us sensitive information such as passwords, card numbers, health details or government identity numbers. Orders are never paid for through this website.
Cookies
This website uses no advertising, tracking or analytics cookies, which is why there is no cookie banner. Links to outside services, such as messaging apps, social media and maps, are governed by those services’ own policies.
How we use it
- to reply to your enquiry and send quotations, swatches and samples;
- to make, inspect, ship and invoice your orders, and keep in touch about them;
- to keep the business, tax, customs and export records Indian law requires;
- to keep this website working and secure.
We do not sell your personal information, and sending an enquiry does not put you on a mailing list. If we ever send you updates about new ranges, you can opt out at any time.
For visitors covered by the GDPR, we rely on: steps you ask for before a contract, and the contract itself; our legitimate interest in running a business-to-business manufacturing company and a secure website; and our legal obligations. Under Indian law we use the information you give us for the purpose you gave it, and with your consent where needed.
Who we share it with
Only as needed, with:
- the services that host this website and deliver our email and enquiry messages;
- logistics and trade partners who help deliver your order, such as freight forwarders, shipping lines, couriers, customs brokers, banks and inspection agencies;
- certification bodies and auditors who review our records;
- authorities, such as tax and customs departments or courts, where the law requires it.
Some of these services store or process information outside India. Where the law requires safeguards for such transfers, we rely on recognised ones, such as standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to an order: up to three years after our last contact. Order, invoice and shipping records: as long as Indian company, tax and export laws require, currently up to eight years. After that we delete the information or keep it in a form that no longer identifies you.
How we protect it
The website is served only over an encrypted connection, and access to enquiries and order records is limited to the people who need them. If you think information you shared with us has been misused, please tell us straight away.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, correct or update it, delete it where we no longer need to keep it by law, stop or restrict using it, give you a copy, or withdraw a consent you gave. Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act you can also nominate someone to exercise these rights for you if you die or become unable to.
Write to privacy@hjepl.com and we will reply within one month. We may first need to confirm who you are. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India or, in the European Union or the United Kingdom, to your local data protection authority.
