A growing hotel pipeline
Large hotel and resort developments make hospitality a major buyer of bed linen, specified in white and ivory to each hotel's bed sizes and laundering.
Two coasts
Dammam serves the Eastern Province and Riyadh by rail and road; Jeddah serves the west coast and the holy cities. Pick the port nearest your warehouse.
Conformity before shipping
Saudi Arabia checks textiles against its technical regulation before clearance, so the SABER certificates are arranged before the goods sail, not after.

SABER certificates
The importer registers the product on the SABER platform for a product certificate, then obtains a shipment certificate for each consignment. Without it, customs holds the goods.

Goods clear under the GCC common tariff through your broker, and VAT applies on import.

Commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin and the product data the SABER registration needs, with export clearance handled at our end.

Trade terms
There is no trade agreement between India and Saudi Arabia in force, so the GCC common external tariff applies. India and the Gulf Cooperation Council launched negotiations on a free trade agreement in February 2026.

Labelling
What the label must carry
- Fibre composition by name and percentage, in Arabic, optionally with English.
- Size or dimensions, the supplier's name and commercial registration, and country of origin.
- Care instructions, sewn in or firmly attached.

What is SABER?
Saudi Arabia's online conformity platform. The importer obtains a product certificate and then a shipment certificate for each consignment; without them, customs holds the goods. We supply the product data needed.
Do Saudi labels need Arabic?
Yes. Labels carry fibre content, size, the supplier's name and commercial registration, origin and care in Arabic, optionally with English.
Is bed linen from India duty free in Saudi Arabia?
No. There is no India-Saudi agreement in force, so the GCC tariff applies. India and the GCC began free trade negotiations in 2026. Duty position verified on 6 October 2026.
Dammam or Jeddah?
Dammam for the Eastern Province and Riyadh, Jeddah for the west. Transit is a little shorter to Dammam.
