The India-Oman Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement came into force on 1 June 2026 and gives immediate duty free access on all textile and apparel tariff lines, removing the previous 5% duty, for goods with valid proof of origin. VAT still applies on import.

- Fibre content, care and country of origin.
- Text in Arabic, usually with English, following Gulf practice.
